Data-Mining challenges in an oracle database environment

Developers and technical architects who program data-mining algorithms on large datasets are faced with a number of difficulties. An environment that is mainly used for on-line transaction processing and operational tasks is not suitable for processing complex data mining algorithms. A dedicated and properly designed data mining infrastructure and an intelligent software design will do the job.
